What the Wedding Parties Have to Say

This thank you note is very overdue, but I wanted to personally thank you, and the Novelty Hill team, for being a fun and easy going crew during Sharon and Matt’s wedding.  Not only did the evening flow with seamless effort and fantastic food and service… but you all allowed my kids to participate in a way that made the evening exciting for them (not once did they tell me they were bored or wanted to go home)!

My son Greyson has decided he wants to be a chef. Please pass my personal thanks to the guys in the kitchen who let him spend time watching, and tasting, both during the rehearsal and the wedding.  My only regret is that I didn’t learn their names, or grab a picture of them with Greyson.  Ava proudly told me that she now knows how to ‘turn a room over’ and get everything set up for a party.  I just might have a little event planner on my hands!  Not every team knows how to handle kids, let alone give them a chance to participate.  Terrific job!

With gratitude and my warmest for this season,  Cari, groom’s sister-in-law, Nov 2014

weddingSummer is always a busy time of year for weddings in Woodinville Wine Country, and we were thrilled to have had the privilege of sharing this incredibly personal and important day with several very special couples this season.  Receiving recognition from KOMO News as one of The Top 5 Wedding Venues This Summer and a blog on the winery as told through the gorgeous work of ij Photo was the frosting on the proverbial cake.

If you are planning your own wedding now and thinking about décor, remember lighting can have a big impact.  The latest issue of Seattle Bride offers some excellent ideas, including creative designs from Taylor’d Events by Jen and Simply Wed at the winery.

Of course, hearing from a happy couple after the celebration that we exceeded expectations is what our goal with every wedding, so it was wonderful to receive this review on The Knot from one of our August brides.

It is not too early to begin thinking about your own wine country wedding.  Dates are already booking for summer 2015, and while a summer wedding is magical, our winter weddings have a beauty all their own.  For more information or to request a proposal, please contact us.

Emily’s mom told us she really wanted to get married at her parents’ house because she wanted to walk on her father’s arm down the stairs that she and her sisters ran up and down as children.  We were honored they picked Novelty Hill Januik for their reception.  Read this blog about their day written by their fabulous photographers, Angela and Evan.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you for such a wonderful evening! Every single person was so attentive, cheerful, helpful and accommodating throughout the reception, and we received plenty of compliments from our guests. Another enormous thank you for allowing us to bringing our desserts…you guys did a fantastic job keeping it well stocked for us! Can’t wait to visit again soon! Thank you all again for everything! P.S. The food was incredible!

I just wanted to send a quick message to thank you and your staff for a wonderful event!  Everyone raved about the venue, the food was plentiful and delicious and the service was excellent.  Your staff was so efficient throughout the evening and so helpful getting our things together during the clean up.  Emily, you were so helpful and easy to work with and are such an asset to Januik.
