It’s easy to understand why Cabernet Sauvignon from Ciel du Cheval on Red Mountain is on every winemaker’s wish list. Vineyard owner Jim Holmes takes meticulous care of his vineyard. For the second year we have produced a "single vineyard" Cabernet Sauvignon from this stellar vineyard. The 2004, 2005 and 2006 vintages received 94 pts., 92 pts. and 91pts. respectively from Robert Parker's Wine Advocate.
Richly aromatic, this wine is loaded with sweet red fruit; blackberries, cinnamon and spice. Great structure and a lengthy finish that leaves a strong impression.
