While at Chateau Ste. Michelle, Mike Januik developed a strong following for this wine and liked it so much himself that he arranged to buy a few grapes for his own label after leaving the chateau in 1999. Ste. Michelle generously obliged. His deft hand with this fruit shows through once again in this bottling – a wine with structure, concentration and Cold Creek’s classic pear and citrus aromas and flavors.
