seth-thumbnailThe James Beard Foundation’s (JBF) Celebrity Chef Tour will make its only visit to Washington State this year on Thursday, June 16 for a spectacular evening of food and wine at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery.  Tickets are $200 per person, including tax and gratuity, and are available now through the JBF web site.

The JBF Celebrity Chef Tour showcases the culinary artistry of featured chefs and brings the famed James Beard House dining experience to cities across the country. Guests attending this summer’s Woodinville dinner will have the opportunity to interact with participating chefs throughout the evening and savor a six-course menu designed to complement an acclaimed collection of limited-release and library wines from both Novelty Hill and Januik wineries.  The event will benefit the James Beard Foundation.

The culinary talent assembled for the evening reflects winery Executive Chef Seth Fernald’s (pictured) bi-coastal influence. Fernald moved to the Pacific Northwest from New England in 2013, drawn to the region by the bounty of local growers, winemakers and artisan purveyors. In addition to Fernald, the evening’s featured chefs include Aaron Harmon, Temple Bar, Cambridge, Mass.; Eric Teachout, Nourriture Food, Seattle; Lauren Thompson, Café Juanita, Kirkland; and Adrien Vasquez, Steel & Rye, Milton, Mass.  View Menu.

Evening sponsors include Grand Event Rentals; Fena Flowers; and music by Treated N Releaset.
